Registration Process for institutions
The registration will be done in 6 stages.
- Stage 1 : Pre-registration.
- Stage 2 : Status confirmation
- Stage 3 : Accommodation confirmation
- Stage 4 : Payment
- Stage 5 : Payment evidence submission
- Stage 6 : Register participants ( we're now at this stage )

Please note that the registration and accommodation fees are separate costs.
Stage 1 out of 6 : Pre-Registration
Registration Period : 14th December 2009 - 17th January 2010
You MUST register during this period only. Any applications before 14th December will be ignored. Accommodation booking is included in this stage and is separated in packages, please select the package that suits your contingent's requirement and funding available. Stage 2 out of 6 : Status Confirmation
Release date of list of successfully registered & waitlisted teams : 18th January 2010

Stage 3 out of 6 : Accommodation Confirmation
Once you have confirmed your status as a successfully pre-registered team, please wait for the organiser's e-mail to confirm your accommodation.
Please wait for maximum of 3 working days after the 18th January for the e-mail to be sent to you. In the event that it has been more than 3 working days, and there is no announcement in the web page regarding the delay, please e-mail our accommodation officer - Ms. Stephanie Vincent - at malaysiadebateopen@gmail.com or malaysiadebateopen@live.com
Stage 4 out of 6 : Payment
Payment Period : 18th January 2010 - 5th Feburary 2010

Stage 5 out of 6 : Payment Evidence
Once you have paid, we need you to email us a copy of the payment slip before 5th Feburary 2010. (This is the preferred method)
If you wish to fax us the payment slip, please fax to +606-231-7166 Att. to Ms Sarah Yap Mei-Quin ( 2nd Malaysia Debate Open ) then send an email to inform us about the faxed slip.
In the email and on the fax paper, please include the following information
- 1. Att. to Ms Sarah Yap Mei-Quin ( 2nd Malaysia Debate Open )
- 2. Name of your institution, e.g. Multimedia University Melaka
- 3. Amount paid and description, e.g. RM 680 (Accom Package C) + RM 680 (Rego)

Stage 6 out of 6 : Register Participants
Participants Registration Period : 18th January 2010 - 28th Feburary 2010
You can start registering your participants as soon as we have received and confirmed your evidence of payment.
Note: Independent adjudicator's and observer's individual registration was already included in the registration form in "Stage 1".
